ALL DIABETIC CLINICS AND RESPIRATORY CLINICS HAVE ARE NOW BEING CARRIED OUT VIA THE TELEPHONE.
CBT SESSIONS WILL ALSO BE DONE VIA THE TELEPHONE.
CHILDHOOD IMMUNISATION CLINICS ARE RUNNING AS NORMAL - PLEASE DO NOT COME IN IF YOUR CHILD HAS A TEMPERATURE OR IS GENERALLY UNWELL - TELEPHONE TO SCHEDULE AN ALTERNATIVE APPOINTMENT.
CBT - the practice employs a registered Cognitive Behavioural Therapist each Friday. She helps patients manage anxiety, OCD, pain and depression. Referral from the GP is essential. Failure to attend or cancellation within 24hours will put you back to the bottom of the waiting list.
Antenatal – midwife led clinic at Portaferry every Tuesday 13:00 – 14:00.
Baby Clinics – held on the 2nd Wednesday of the month by appointment only. The clinics are held by a doctor and health visitor.
Diabetic Clinic – Tuesday mornings by appointment with our practice based pharmacist, Sarah Roddy. Blood tests should be done 2 weeks prior to the clinic. A dietician and podiatrist are also available on alternate months for diabetic screening.
Respiratory Clinics - For annual review of all those with Asthma or COPD, this is run by our Nurse Practitioner, Sarah Page. Book an appointment at reception.
Minor Injuries – cuts, lacerations, foreign bodies and head injuries can be assessed here at Cuan Family Practice. The doctor will treat your injury and refer to A&E if necessary. For suspected fractures and more serious injuries you A&E at Ulster Hospital.
Minor Surgery - the doctors carry out various minor surgical procedures at the Clinic, including joint injections and insertion of long term contraceptive devices.
