DUE TO THE COVID CRISIS, ROUTINE APPOINTMENTS HAVE BEEN SUSPENDED. GPs WILL TRIAGE ALL REQUESTS AND YOU MAY BE OFFERED AN APPOINTMENT, PRESCRIPTION OR TELEPHONE ADVICE.
Our new appointments system started in June 2019. These changes were in response to our recent patient satisfaction survey (Feb19). Open surgery ceased and urgent same day appointments are now available every morning.
Requests for Same Day Appointments
If you feel you need to be seen urgently or before the next available routine appointment (approx. 4 weeks) please inform the receptionist. They will take details of the nature of your problem and contact details. These questions help the doctor to ensure you receive:
* the most appropriate medical care
* from the most appropriate health professional
* at the most appropriate time
If you wish to telephone the surgery for advice you will be asked for specific details regarding your enquiry. The doctor will assess your query and leave a message/prescription. If you do not hear back from either a doctor or receptionist, please ring back after 4pm.
Please note that the telephone lines are busiest between 08:30 – 11:00 and you may have difficulty getting through. In the event of an emergency call 028 427 28488.
If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
